Brand Development for Client, Klaire Russell

When Klaire "KStar" Russell contacted us about developing a professional identity for her small business as an artist, painter and designer we immediately discussed what she wanted to name her business.  First thing came to mind was what everyone calls her, "KStar".  We then saw how limited and common that name was and decided upon the more corporate stance of "Klaire Russell" instead.

The next thing we did was settle on her theme colors for use in both her brand and web development services with us.  Her favorite color is turquoise. We presented her with five hues of turquoise then created one named "Klaire Quoise" specifically for her with the following palette.

KStar affectionately uses palm trees which have become her trademark of her creations. Her niche is creating 3D paintings in 5 minutes or less before a live audience.  With this in mind, we came up with this logo for her company which is setting the stage for www.KlaireRussell.com

Timing a Repurpose with a Relaunch

When a company or organization comes out of obscurity they do so with a vengeance. SXP Magazine is known throughout the entire Southeast US underground entertainment industry as the first online magazine catering to the hip-hop culture 100% viewable online by flipping pages with just a click of your mouse.

SXP Magazine gained nominations from various independent industry award organizations from 2007-2009. The magazine won awards as Best Online Magazine from the Southern Entertainment Awards (SEAs) both in 2008 & 2009. Afterwards, the publication took a bow and a sabbath.

Now with a new editorial staff, SXP Magazine is back! I've just been named Digital Media Director and Design Department head and with that, I'll be making sure our 1st relaunch issue is a jaw dropper graphically, attention sustaining with content and not too clogged up with advertisement.  Check the cover out to see exactly how we planning to kick the doors wide open again as the award winning SXP Magazine Online.

29 Ways To Stay Creative

There isn't anything I don't enjoy more than receiving a nugget or two on how to stay on top of my creative game. Twitter has come through for me once again with this one tweeted by CreativeSuite. I know that with the new addition in my family being about 1 month old plus a few days now, #19 is completely thrown out the window. ;-)
